Medicare Supplement · Medigap
Keep Original Medicare — and fill in the gaps.
Medigap works alongside Original Medicare, helping pay the deductibles and coinsurance Medicare doesn't. I'll help you see whether it fits how you use care.
How it works
Is it right for you?
Medigap tends to fit people who want predictable costs and full freedom to choose doctors. It usually carries a higher monthly premium than Medicare Advantage.
When you enroll matters, too: your strongest guaranteed rights come in the months around your Part B start date. We'll look at your timing, your budget, and how you use care — then compare the options side by side.
Talk it through with CarrieCommon questions
What's the difference between Medigap and Medicare Advantage?
Medicare Advantage delivers your Medicare benefits through a private plan that usually includes drug coverage and often additional benefits. Medigap keeps Original Medicare in place and helps pay your share of costs, like deductibles and coinsurance. Both are established ways to structure your coverage — you can hold one or the other, never both at once.
When is the best time to enroll?
Many people apply in the months before their Part B effective date so coverage begins right on time. Your Medigap open enrollment period runs for six months from your Part B effective date — during that window, you have the strongest rights to buy a policy without health questions. It is worth a conversation before you decide.
Do Medigap plans cover prescriptions?
No. Prescription coverage comes from a separate Part D plan.
Is there a cost for your assistance?
No — there is never a monetary exchange between me and my clients. I earn my living through the carriers I'm contracted with.
